No one is perfect in our world. Everyone makes mistakes; it is just that some mistakes are more serious and the others are less. However, the most important thing is that you shall admit your mistakes and try to do good so as to become crucial human resources for national development. Every year, nearly all of the countries on the globe, especially the signatories of the Convention on Human Rights and the Rights of the Child, celebrate the International Children’s Day to set it as a reminder of the respect for children’s rights and to attract more public attention to children as a whole. And in Cambodia, International Children’s Day is held almost everywhere; in downtown areas, schools, provinces and cities. Every single child always looks forward to this very day to meet their friends and enjoy the reunion. Children in conflict with the law also have rights to enjoyment. However, never they have enjoyed the International Children’s Day while this event is globally celebrated. In this regard, PJJ has organized International Children’s Day in provincial prisons of Cambodia where child inmates will have a chance to enjoy their rights as other children do in public places.
